Ken Furer is an experienced creative executive and producer with a strong background in both digital and traditional media. He has created content for The Walt Disney Company, Maker Studios, Funny or Die, Fox Digital, Participant Media, YouTube Red, Verizon go90, Sling TV, and Turner's Super Deluxe. Previously Ken worked in feature film and TV development at Bona Fide Productions (Little Miss Sunshine, Nebraska, The Leftovers).
Ken is currently a creative executive at The Walt Disney Company where he develops original programming for the Disney+ streaming service. At Maker Studios, he oversaw creative execution of original pilots and series. Prior to that, Ken was Supervising Producer for Maker’s O&O comedy channel Nacho Punch where he oversaw writing and production on sketches and series that have garnered millions of views and have been featured in Time, People, Good Morning America, LA Times, Huffington Post, Slate, Mashable, Buzzfeed, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Fast Company, AV Club, CNET, College Humor, Jezebel, Nerdist, Gizmodo, and other made-up words.
Previously at Maker Ken produced videos for Snoop Dogg (Lion?), Bart Baker, and other top YouTube talent generating over 150 million total views. Ken also won Maker’s first Innovation Award.
Additionally, Ken wrote an IAC award-winning branded video for Quiznos and Fox that was featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Daily Beast, etc. and has made branded content for Ford, Pepsi, Mr. Clean (Procter & Gamble) and Hard Rock Cafe. Ken is also the creator of The Wish List, a parody of The Black List that has been featured on Deadline.com, The Hollywood Reporter, and The Huffington Post.
